Breakfast and After School Club

Welcome to Little Nipperz at Merrylands Primary School

We provide a wide range of high quality childcare for school aged children (4 to 11 years old)

Session times and prices

Breakfast Club

Session: 7.30 am to start of school                                                   Cost: £6.00

The Breakfast Club will operate for 39 weeks of the year, in line with the school term time.  We will offer a wide range of breakfast options from healthy low sugar and salt cereals to toast and fruit.  Please note breakfast will be served until 8.15 am.  Children will then have a full range of activities to take part in before school including physical play (weather permitting).

After School Club

Session: 3.10 pm until 6.00 pm                                                         Cost: £12.50

The After-School Club will operate for 39 weeks of the year, in line with the school term time.  After School Club includes snacks of fruit and a light tea, examples of food provided are sandwiches, wraps, pasta, beans on toast etc.  The children are collected from school after the school day or from their after-school club activity.  Whilst at After School Club they will have the chance to take part in some fun exciting activities, do their homework, physical outdoor play and socialise with friends.  Each day will we have a range of indoor and outdoor planned activities (weather permitting).

Bookings

All spaces are booked on a permanent basis, with a 4-week notices period to change or reduce days.  Please email the email address above for any enquiries or to book a space.

Policies

Our staff will explain our policies and procedures to you.  Copies of the policies are always available.  Our policies help us to make sure that the service provided by our setting is a high quality one and that being a member of the setting is an enjoyable and beneficial experience for each child and her/his parents.

Our staff and parents work together to adopt the policies and they all have the opportunity to take part in the annual review of the policies. This review helps us to make sure that the policies are enabling our setting to provide a quality service for its members and the local community.

Information we hold about you and your child

We have procedures in place for the recording and sharing of information [data] about you and your child that is compliant with the principles of the General Data Protection Regulations (2018) as follows:

The data we collect is

  • processed fairly, lawfully and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject
  • collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed for other purposes incompatible with those purposes
  • adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which data is processed.

A privacy notice is available that fulfils our obligations with regard to your data.

Safeguarding

Our setting has a duty under the law to safeguard children against suspected or actual ‘significant harm’.  All staff have an Enhanced DBS check completed before they can start working at Little Nipperz and a rigorous employment process is followed for each application.  There will a lead person for safeguarding that will be on site or contactable at all times.
